Welcome to Jellie Park
Jellie Park, owned and operated by the Christchurch City Council is located at 295 Ilam Road.
The indoor facility features:
- A new 25 metre, 8-lane, 2m deep pool
- The existing 25 metre, 8- lane pool
- A new pool for pre-schoolers and their parents
- A new indoor hydroslide
- A new spa pool
- A new steam room and sauna
The outdoor pools include:
- A 3 metre dive well with one and three metre springboards
- A 50 metre 7 lane pool
- Hydroslides
- A grassed picnic area
The outdoor pools are open from November to March each year and make Jellie Park a great family summer venue.
Jellie Park offers a full range of programmes and activities:
- Learn to swim classes; from waterbabies to adults
- Fitness centre
- Group exercise classes
- Recreation programmes
- Aqua classes
- Swim coaching programme
With the increased pool space available now in Jellie Park, we are committed to provide the public access to the pools at all times within our opening hours. This means that at all times during the day some lanes in the two 25m lap pools will be made available to the public.
